How Creative is Improvisation? is the title of the presentation made by Louise Gibbs at the conference hosted by the Centre for Music Performance as Creative Practice (CMPCP) at University of Cambridge in July 2011. This paper is part of ongoing personal research project into musical improvisation that Louise has been carrying out informally for many years and which will find itself in complete book form when suitable time and funds can be found.
