Louise Gibbs at Ronnie Scott’s Bar – 19 December
As part of the Ladies of Jazz series, Louise Gibbs appears at Ronnie Scott’s Bar (upstairs) on Monday 19 December, 10pm. The house band for the series is: Mark Edwards (p); Richard Sadler (b); Chris Higginbottom; led by the irrepressibly steaming tenor playing of Renato D’Aiello. With more of a blow and no less show, the upstairs bar recaptures something of the Ronnie’s of old.
