After a year of performance drought and a few postponements the Gibbs/Griffith/Weatherall Trio will be playing the music of Ellington and Strayhorn LIVE at Seven Arts at the end of May. Expect to hear the firm favorites,  Take the A’ Train, I Let a Song So Out of My Heart, the astounding ballad, Lush Life and lesser-known gems: Rhumbop (from Drum is a Woman-1956), Strange Feeling, A Flower is a Lovesome Thing, Chelsea Bridge.
